Programs for Teens & Young Adults

Fresh Start Parenting

Have you ever wanted to just start over again?  Me too!   As a parent coach, one of the most common areas that I hear people wanting a fresh start is in their parenting.  Most parents want to do the right thing for their kids; but kids don't come with a manual and every single kid is different than the next.  There is no exact science to parenting as many of us find out once we're in the midst of being a parent.

By participating in this 6 week program you will have the opportunity to look at your own parenting style (for any age child/ren), your child's personal/behavioral style, determine if your current parenting is the most effective way to parent each child (each child is different so you may need to parent one child differently than another), and set a course of action to help you move into parenting in a more successful manner for yourself and your family.

Parents of Middle School Students (PoMSS)

Watching your child get ready for middle school is a very scary experience for most parents. This is probably the biggest transition for your child so far in their life, and it's a huge transition for you as a parent. How you handle this transition will largely determine how your child will handle it. Make sure you're prepared so your child will be prepared.

This group will meet 3 times over the course of the program. Parents will focus on the transition of their child going to middle school. Throughout this program we will address some of the concerns that parents have, ways to help their child through this transition in a positive manner as well as ways for parents to handle their own fears and stress during this transitional time. Come join us as we all work towards making this experience positive for everyone!
