Parents of Middle School Students - PoMMS |
Watching your child get ready for middle school is a very scary experience for most parents. This is probably the biggest transition for your child so far in their life, and it's a huge transition for you as a parent. How you handle this transition will largely determine how your child will handle it. Make sure you're prepared so your child will be prepared.
This group will meet 3 times over the course of the program. Parents will focus on the transition of their child going to middle school. Throughout this program we will address some of the concerns that parents have, ways to help their child through this transition in a positive manner as well as ways for parents to handle their own fears and stress during this transitional time. Come join us as we all work towards making this experience positive for everyone!
This program is offered as 1-hour conference calls where participants are encouraged to participate in the discussion and ask questions about the topics. All calls are recorded so if you are away on vacation or miss a call, you can always call in and listen to the latest session.
